Uncertainty Analysis of Numerical Ice-Sheet Models
By utilizing polar ice sheet dynamics models, NIMS performs studies on the melting of polar ice sheet, draining into oceans of meltwater, and their effects on sea level rise in Korean peninsular.
In addition, NIMS estimates the sea level rise for every kilometer of the coastline of Korean peninsula and conducts studies to predict the problem of coastlines retreat in coastal waters.
