The National Institute of Mathematical Sciences held
the first annual math sharing camp in 2018.
The institute regularly holds a math
happiness sharing camp with the National Academy of Sciences in order to close
the gap between regions and spread the industrial math culture by inviting
students from areas where access to math and science education programs is
difficult.
The institute invited some 80 students from Sobaeksan Middle School in
North Chungcheong Province to hold the first math sharing camp in 2018 for
three days from May 30 to June 1.
Students at the event visited the institute to experience a variety of
math programs, including industrial lecture, IMAGINARY tour, math quiz,
Leonardo Dome, mazimic, and cube art experience.
