Hold the Industrial Mathematical Symposium (Four 4th
Industrial Revolution and Mathematics)
The institute held the Industrial
Mathematical Symposium on May 18 at the Assembly Hall's First Conference Room.
This event, hosted by National Mathematical Society Park Kyung-mi and the
Korea Mathematical Society, hosted by the National Institute of Science and
Technology Information and Communications, sponsored by the National Assembly's
Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Ministry of Science and Communication, was
conducted with the subject matter.
First, the Industrial Mathematical Innovation Center (Published by Heo
Jun), the Industrial Mathematical Center of Busan University (Post: Dr. Cho
Ki-pil), the Industrial Mathematical Center of Seoul National University
(Presentation: Chun Jung-Hee) and the Research Center for Science
The Soo-yeon Industrial Mathematical Innovation Center announced last year
the major cases of solving industrial math problems such as Takion Tech, Smart
Social and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, Busan University's Industrial Math
Center introduced financial and math centers in the same field.
The second section was followed by Kim Jeong-won, a basic research policy
officer at the Ministry of Science and Technology Information and
Communication, Min Seung-jae, president of Samsung SDS, and Choi Hae-chun, vice
president of Korea Machinery Association.
In the discussion, there were panel opinions and questions on a variety of
topics, including the recruitment of math majors in big data fields, the need
