National Institute of Mathematical Sciences Hold Good
PC Sharing Ceremony
The institute held a "good PC
Sharing Ceremony of Love" on April 30 at the Hyogwangwon in Daejeon to
support rehabilitation youths.
Jeong Soon-young, the head of the group's headquarters, and Choi
Yeon-taek, the head of the labor union, selected 102 computer-generated
devices, and delivered them to Daejon Hyofwangwon, a youth center.
"We appreciate your help to underprivileged youths who need attention
from the region and hope to continue to have a good relationship with
Soo-yeon," said Kim Jung-yeop, the head of Hyogwang, who received the
computer device.
"We hope the equipment delivered will be useful for the
rehabilitation of youth under protective care and will actively participate in
various events and campaigns that can contribute to society," said Jeong
Sun-young, director of NIMS.
Starting with the ceremony, the agency plans to continuously prepare and
implement measures to reduce the digital divide between the underprivileged and
the underprivileged in the region.
