Organizing reorganization of the National Institute of Mathematical Sciences and appointing staff members

The National Institute of Mathematical Sciences reorganized its organization on March 8 to effectively achieve its strategic goals and reestablish its identity as a Mecca for new director Chung Soon-young.

Through the reshuffle, the institute plans to establish an industrial math center and a policy evaluation center, and to stabilize the institution by solving math problems in the industry, science and public sectors, and strengthening policies and evaluation functions.

The award ceremony for the new department head was held on March 12.

Director Chung Soon-young asked all employees, including Cho Sun-young, head of the Industrial Mathematical Research Institute to take responsibility and do their best to improve the organization.
