[SCI]All-sky search for short gravitational-wave bursts in the second Advanced LIGO and Advanced Virgo run

B.P. Abbott,김환선,손재주,오상훈,오정근 | PHYSICAL REVIEW D | 2019

We present the results of a search for short-duration gravitational-wave transients in the data from the second observing run of Advanced LIGO and Advanced Virgo. We search for gravitational-wave transients with a duration of milliseconds to approximately one second in the 32?4096 Hz frequency band with minimal assumptions about the signal properties, thus targeting a wide variety of sources.

[SCI]All-sky search for continuous gravitational waves from isolated neutron stars using Advanced LIGO O2 data

B.P. Abbott,김환선,손재주,오상훈,오정근 | PHYSICAL REVIEW D | 2019

We present results of an all-sky search for continuous gravitational waves (CWs), which can be produced by fast spinning neutron stars with an asymmetry around their rotation axis, using data from the second observing run of the Advanced LIGO detectors.

[SCI]Narrow-band search for gravitational waves from known pulsars using the second LIGO observing run

B.P. Abbott,김환선,손재주,오상훈,오정근 | PHYSICAL REVIEW D | 2019

Isolated spinning neutron stars, asymmetric with respect to their rotation axis, are expected to be sources of continuous gravitational waves.

[SCI]Searches for Gravitational Waves from Known Pulsars at Two Harmonics in 2015-2017 LIGO Data

B. P. Abbott,김환선,손재주,오상훈,오정근 | The Astrophysical Journal | 2019

We present a search for gravitational waves from 222 pulsars with rotation frequencies gsim10 Hz. We use advanced LIGO data from its first and second observing runs spanning 2015?2017,

[SCI]Tests of General Relativity with GW170817

B. P. Abbott,김환선,손재주,오상훈,오정근 | Physical Review Letters | 2019

The recent discovery by Advanced LIGO and Advanced Virgo of a gravitational wave signal from a binary neutron star inspiral has enabled tests of general relativity (GR) with this new type of source.

[SCIE]Monolithic Image Decomposition

JinJoo Song,SangMin Yoon,윤강준 | Neurocomputing | 2019

Image decomposition is one of the essential image processing techniques in computer vision and computational photography because it can be applied to various areas, such as image smoothing, detail enhancement, image abstraction, and high-dynamic-range compression.

[SCIE]Kirchhoff Migration for Identifying Unknown Targets Surrounded by Random Scatterers

Won-Kwang Park,안치영,하태영 | Applied Sciences-Basel | 2019

n this paper, we take into account a two-dimensional inverse scattering problem for localizing small electromagnetic anomalies when they are surrounded by small, randomly distributed electromagnetic scatterers.

[SCI]Emergence of synchronous behaviors for the Schrodinger-Lohe model with frustration

Seung-Yeal Ha,김도현 | Nonlinearity | 2019

We introduce the Schrodinger?Lohe model (S?L) with interaction frustration which is a toy model for quantum synchronization, and study its emergent collective dynamics. Our proposed model might not capture quantum entanglement which is one of genuine quantum phenomenon

[SCI]RETOUCH: The Retinal OCT Fluid Detection and Segmentation Benchmark and Challenge

Hrvoje Bogunovic,강성호,박형석,전기완 | IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON MEDICAL IMAGING | 2019

Retinal swelling due to the accumulation of fluid is associated with the most vision-threatening retinal diseases. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is the current standard of care in assessing the presence and quantity of retinal fluid and image-guided treatment management.
