Introduction
This two-day seminar is a preparation seminar for the 2015 SIAM Conference on Applied Algebraic Geometry (August 3-7). We are going to introduce the applications of algebraic geometry from different aspects and prepare everyone for the related mini-symposiums in the SIAM conference.
